Oil Plus Part A - 20 ML's are perfect for sampling Oil Plus 2C wood finish colours. For durability testing or final application, we recommend using in conjunction with Part B.

Application

Furniture, Stairs, and Worktops

  1. Clean the surface using Rubio Monocoat Surface Care Spray.
  2. Let the surface dry for approximately 15 minutes. TIP: Do not leave water on the surface; it is sufficient to clean damp. Avoid walking on the floor until it is completely dry.
  3. Take the Universal Maintenance Oil and stir thoroughly until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  4. Apply a small amount of oil with a brush, then spread it out using a white or red pad. Work in areas of 20 to 40 ft², which can be finished within approximately 15 minutes, including the next step.
  5. Allow the oil to absorb for a few minutes, then wipe away any excess oil with a cloth or a white pad. Each treated area should be wiped dry within 15 minutes and should not feel sticky anymore.

Flooring

  1. Clean the surface using Rubio Monocoat Soap or Rubio Monocoat Surface Care Spray.
  2. Allow the floor to dry for approximately 15 minutes. Do not walk on the floor until it is completely dry.
  3. Take the Universal Maintenance Oil and stir thoroughly until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  4. Work in areas of 50 to 100 ft². Start by treating the edges of each area with a white or red pad. Then, apply a small amount of Universal Maintenance Oil every couple feet with a brush. Spread the oil in the direction of the wood using a buffer with a white or red pad.
  5. Wipe away any excess oil with a cloth or a buffer with a white pad.
  6. After finishing all the areas, go over them again with a new white pad. The surface should not feel sticky anymore.
