Pre-Aging is a high-quality, non-reactive pre-treatment, that gives wood an aged appearance. Application provides a deep colour with subtle accents. Available in 10 shades, the colour spectrum ranges from a lighter to a darker smoked look, with colours that can be mixed with each other to create custom looks.

Sand surface without making scratches and vacuum.
Apply Pre-Aging to the surface using a painters tray and the Rubio Monocoat Microber Bristle Pad. For edges and corners, apply with a cut in pad then smooth the Pre-Aging using a white pad. Work along the length of the boards, in widths of 10-15 inches. Avoid forming puddles.
Allow to dry for about 24 hours and ensure sufficient ventilation. TIP: It is perfectly normal for the surface to dry in ‘spots’ that follow the grain pattern. As long as the surface still looks ‘spotted’, it is not dry yet.
After drying (approx. 24 hours if there is sufficient ventilation), break the raised wood fibers using a buffer with a red pad. Vacuum and finish with a colour from the Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C range. No buffing needed.

Shipping and delivery
All products on our web site are shipped by a carrier chosen by Ice Epoxy.
It is customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery can be received in accordance with the carrier’s schedule.
Any additional delivery fees will be the responsibility of the customer. The carrier may charge extra costs in the event of delivery issues.
Ice Epoxy ships products by regular ground delivery service, generally in 1 to 7 business days, but this interval may be longer as delivery times are estimates and may not be guaranteed.
The customer authorizes the shipper and delivery company to leave all packages without proof of signature. Ice Epoxy will not be responsible for lost, missing or stolen items.
Items that are back-ordered are shipped immediately upon arrival in the warehouse.
Refunds and returns
There are no refunds or returns on products, materials or supplies.
Defective products, materials or supplies will be replaced by Ice Epoxy. Customers must notify Ice Epoxy of any damaged or defective products, materials or supplies within 24 hours of reception and supply proof upon request. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect products, materials or supplies upon delivery.
No refund or return may be made after products, materials or supplies have been used and/or mixed and/or installed.
All repackaging costs, return shipping and/or delivery costs will be the customer’s responsibility. All products, materials and supplies must be returned in saleable condition.
